I think you should try to export the pages from your current site using the WordPress exporter and import them using the default WordPress importer to the staging site version to see how it goes. Guess it will work fine.

I already tried that and it caused the same blank page/slow loading issue, since it copies over all of the extra database entries with it, I’m going to try cleaning up the database myself and see how that goes, since I think I know which entries are causing the issue

ok. didn’t realised you already tried that.
It will give a bit more work but it will be ok.

    Apologize for any inconvenience.

    Hello, there.

I’m having this same issue and am probably not as competent a user as AeirleK. It only started in the last week, but I have been making some big changes to the site (changing the page layout, adding and removing pages, etc.), but it’s not a very big site in the first place. I’ve tried all the stuff mentioned without luck.

I can work with my hosting service to reset a few things. What would you recommend?

Is there anything else short of a clean install (which makes me want to poke my eyes out with stakes, so I’d really like to avoid that)? If I do take the plunge into the DB, what should I look for?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi @SomeChick

What kind of hosting are you running? Testing the frontend it seems like 80% of the time is spent waiting for the host before the site loads, which I would guess is your issue on the backend. A slow response time would mean a delay for content loading in the page builder.
