Ed, as far as I know this was fixed?

Would it be any different for blog posts that were imported prior to activating Supreme?

    Regards,

Can you give this version of the theme a test for us to let me know if it fixes the issue? http://cl.ly/PrMk

Hi – i’m afraid this still does not work. I ftp’d the file you sent me and overwrote the existing Supreme folder. The slider background image works for newly create posts but not older posts imported from a previous theme.

Really appreciate all your help on this one!

    many thanks

it is now possible to connect the image to the post, however this does not display it in the slider which is what I need it to do. If you create a new post the image will display on the slider perfectly however old posts do not work with background image.

    Thank you

Check now, I added an image to the “Why you should walk in small steps” post, and it shows up on the slider.

Bingo! Great, thank you so much! Could you tell me the optimal size for the slider background?

Thanks again for all your help!

For that full width slider, I’d use 1920px wide images, to make sure they fit for most desktop resolutions as well. However, even smaller ones will do. But do pay attention to image file size, the bigger they are the slower your site will load.

What is the optimal height of the slider image. With the example you put in place for me, when the page size is reduced to tablet size screen and black panel appears below the slider image. I’m assuming that its due to the original image size.

    many thanks

Height wise, I’d recommend at least 1000px.
