    Hey guys,

I’m cropping my featured images to 1000 x 450 and they look great on laptop and desktop, but on the Ipad they have a big black bar that runs across the bottom that takes up 1/3 of the slider.

Just head to pasturebraised.com on your ipad to have a look.

I thought as long as the height was set to 450 it would fit the slider correctly on all platforms?

Please let me know how to fix this.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

The featured images do look fine on iPad – I believe you’re talking about the Revolution Slider? For that one, I think you could upload bigger images and it’ll work fine as well – Tahir, can you please confirm? (as in, will they get cropped?)

    Regards,

    Hey,

I’m not talking about the revolution slider. I’m talking about the built in post slider and the Ipad Mini specifically. There is a black bar across the bottom of all my slider images when viewing the site on the Ipad mini.

    I am cropping my images to 1000 x 450.

Please let me know how I can fix this.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Please crop your images to 1000 by 600 . It ipad the slider ratio changes so you need a squarish image.

    Thanks
    Tahir

Is there a way to set the slider up to just adjust for Ipad mini? I don’t want an image that big and square for the web site? I’d rather the image just be slightly stretched if somebody is using a ipad mini to access the site.

    I’m afraid that’s not possible
