slider as background

Hi,

I have a general question about the Cardinal theme: In a row, you can curreltly choose to show a color, an image or a video in the background. Is there also a way to show a slideshow?

I’m looking for a way to show page elements (eg an icon box) on top of a slideshow.

Or can it be done with Joyn?

also: in the “wedding” demo, there is a vertical header with transparent background. Does this require custom styling?

Hi

1) Unfortunately there’s no slider option for row backgrounds, possibly something we will look into.

2) No, you just need to choose the ‘Standard Overlay’ for the header in page meta > header options

1) np, just making sure.
2) doesn’t seem to do the trick. I do have the option in “appearance > customize” to set the “header background type” to “transparant”, but then it turns black. Any other tips?

Just checked we use an inner page background for the home page, with the standard (overlay) header enabled

pff, sorry, but I still can’t reproduce it.
The background is always white, and if I use the theme settings to make the navigation transparant, it’s still black.
I just don’t get it.
You got access to the backend, were you able to fix it?
