skype icon appearing next to phone # – spontaneously!

Hi Flexform,
In the widget area, a skype icon appears (without code telling it to appear) next to a phone number. The phone number is a mobile # and not connected to a skype account.

I am not able to delete the icon (there is no code for it to be there).

It appears on a mobile, but not on my laptop or the back end. Can you help troubleshoot?

Looks like a plugin causing that, nothing to do with the theme. Can you try deactivating all of your plugins to check?

Hi Kyle,

Have checked plugins – no success there. I’ve deactivated everything but revslider and breadcrumbs and the icon still appears in two places:
• footer
• contact us page in main content area

Stumped. Any ideas?

Got the problem fixed. Yes, browser thing. User was accessing the web with Safari!!

Are inferior web browsers the bane of our existence?
