Hi,
I was wondering if you could please help us out with a weird issue. We are getting 404 errors after an update and our Revolution Slider on the front page is not working because of it.

That’s odd, please delete the plugin. Then upload it via your FTP into your plugins folder

As per your suggestion I’ve tried deleting and uploading with FTP. It did not work please see my screen capture result.
Please let me know what else we can try.
Thank you,

Can you check if those files in the error messages really exist.
Can be also something related to the path to the asset because it seems you something redirecting in grup74.ro (can’t see the entire url)

November 9, 2015 at 8:42 pm #227238Hello,
I have done as you suggested several times and just did it again after your recommendation. The problem still persists.
The files do not exist on the server. In fact the file structure it is looking for does exist inside the plugin folder but the files do not. It seems like it’s some sort of a path issue.
Do you know which file for revslider would hold all the paths? I can perhaps go in there and manually update where it should be looking for the files.
Also seeing this error in the “view source” `setREVStartSize();
function revslider_showDoubleJqueryError(sliderID) {
var errorMessage = “Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include.”;
errorMessage += “<br> This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.”;
errorMessage += “<br><br> To fix it you can:<br> 1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: <strong><b>Put JS Includes To Body</b></strong> option to true.”;
errorMessage += “<br> 2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.”;
errorMessage = “<span style=’font-size:16px;color:#BC0C06;’>” + errorMessage + “</span>”;
jQuery(sliderID).show().html(errorMessage);
}
var tpj=jQuery;
`If this doesn’t get me anywhere can you guys go in and upload the newest version of the theme for us without deleting any content?
Thank you so much for all your help.
November 10, 2015 at 12:42 pm #227416The message tells that can be a conflict with other plugin.
Try to disable all plugins except the Woocommerce and Revolution Slider.The content is stored in the database so uploading the theme files won’t mess with the content, but if you have any modification in the files it will be lost.
