My site does not seem to be working. Some of the issues I’ve noticed:
The links in the menu don’t work, and it doesn’t allow me to make changes to the menu.
The slider on the homepage should be set to full width but it isn’t.
When I make changes to a page, the changes are not saved.
All the images are not loading properly and they appear to broken in the media folder. The site had been working fine, I can’t think of anything that would have caused this.
Please can you look into this for me and fix the issue.
Thanking you in advance.
September 9, 2015 at 10:29 am #211605Hi,
try to disable all plugins except Swift Framework and Revolution Slider so we can discard any possible plugin conflict.
You should update the Revolution Slider to the latest version that is inside the Themeforest Cardinal download files-Rui
September 9, 2015 at 11:34 am #211632I’ve disabled all the plugins and the site still isn’t working.
Please advise.
September 9, 2015 at 11:43 am #211633Guess something wrong in you server settings.
Can you confirm that this image exist in your server? It’s giving a 404 error NOT FOUND.
http://demo.meormd.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/How-Gears.pngAlso what is the content of your htaccess file?
Thanks

September 9, 2015 at 12:10 pm #211654I’ll look into the image path. It looks like it is incorrect, although I don’t know why it changed.
I don’t see the Swift Framework plugin installed on the site? Is it installed? If not how do install it?
This is my .htaccess file code:
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /meor-penn/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /meor-penn/index.php [L]
</IfModule># END WordPress
September 9, 2015 at 12:17 pm #211658I also can’t change the menu. Please can you look into this.
September 9, 2015 at 12:18 pm #211659I installed the Swift Framework but couldn’t activate due to a path error of one of the classes.
Guess this is a global problem and I think it’s cause by that modified Rewrite base and Rewrite Rule in the htaccess.
This is the default WordPress htaccess, try to use it instead to see what happens.# BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPress

September 10, 2015 at 8:39 am #211899I changed the .htaccess file to the code you pasted about but I can’t see any change in the site.
I need to get this site working for my client. I can’t figure out why this would suddenly happen.
Please advise.
Thanks.
September 10, 2015 at 11:41 am #211963Hi,
After that change the Theme options are already working and the homepage also it’s looking better.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/f3zrngyhlzy28hp/Screenshot%202015-09-10%2011.41.13.png?dl=0I notice that you manage to activate the Swift Framework already.
try to clear the browser cache and let me know after this what are the current issues.
Thanks
-Rui
September 10, 2015 at 11:46 am #211968I reinstalled the theme, but the menu still isn’t working, the images are all broken and the screen isn’t showing full width.
I can’t see an improvement. Please can you see how to fix these things. Thanks
September 11, 2015 at 10:34 am #212260Hi,
The menu links don’t work because the menu wasn’t build the correct way.
You should add the pages to the menus, or if you use a custom link you should provide the url. Without that they won’t link.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/b4d1f3644ko5xn9/Screenshot%202015-09-11%2010.31.57.png?dl=0Regarding the images, this is related to your server settings or some plugin conflict. If you go to the Media library of WordPress you can’t see any image.
Try to deactivate all plugins and check if the media library works fine.

September 16, 2015 at 8:17 am #213401They menu links are pages, but are showing as custom links for some reason, anyway I removed them all. I am not able to add a new page as a menu tab. Please log in and try to add one. It isn’t working, as I said in the first thread on this post.
I have deactivated all the plugins already and the media library is still not working. There is something wrong here. I would appreciate if you could find the solution, I really need to get this site going for my client and the theme isn’t working.
Thanks,
September 16, 2015 at 12:47 pm #213594Hi,
I can not access your site? It has a white screen?
