    should I delete all the demo pages and images?

    Hi,

    If you have configured those plugins and all images are optimized, you could also try using the CloudFlare CDN: https://www.cloudflare.com/.

    Lastly I would recommend you move to a good web host, if you are using a cheap hosting package it will be like trying to swim through treacle. We use and highly recommend WPEngine.

    Thanks David, I’ve already setup Cloudflare with the site. The issue seems to be either the number of requests or the size of javascript.
    Any other ideas?

    Seems like I may have to bite the bullet and try WP engine if not. I’ve setup more than my fair share of sites over the years, but this seems to be the slowest.

    Can you try replacing /neighborhood/css/font-awesome.min.css with this file please – http://d.pr/f/1iFjV/4eR7HAP7

    Noticed it’s failing to load a specific file, wondering if that may be causing the holdup.

    There is an error in your Fontdeck files.

    Check if your Fontdeck settings are correct or try to clear them to compare the difference of the loading.

    Here, It’s a way to load more fonts, you should have an account
    http://fontdeck.com/about

    If that’s not the case just delete the code in Fontdeck options on our theme options-> typography

    Hi ,
    I just check my website at Pingdom speed test, it is SLOWER than 85% other tested website :((

    http://neighborhood.swiftideas.com showing good result, it is FASTER than 86% tested website.
