Hi. We need the uplift theme installed and set up exactly like the one of http://uplift.swiftideas.com/ with same fonts, photos (photos not needed of course) and all links working as on your original site. When we installed the theme it has the same feel but not all content is there and not all content is the same. Our goal is to use your design and fonts and change some of the content to re-brand it for our products. We are not sure that the option of theme installation on the Envato marketplace will be enough? Could you tell us how can we achieve getting the same look and feel as http://uplift.swiftideas.com/ or if you can do it for us or Envato can please let us know. We are hosting our WP install on an Amazon Linux EC2 instance and the MySQL is on Amazon RDS.
    Thanks!

    Hi Marin,

You have not activated Uplift? You still have Twenty16 enabled.

Install and activate Uplift and use the Uplift demo content importer, this will setup the site like our demo.

    Full details here: http://uplift.swiftideas.com/documentation/

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I did as you suggested, activated all required plugins and updated the demo content.
I am still not getting all content (probably because:
“PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large amount of content on the main demo, we have provided a reduced version for you to import to ensure that you have no issues with it. If you would like the full demo conent XML, then we can provide it on request. Simply log a support topic at http://swiftideas.com/support”

But now the shop page is unavailable !?
https://beta.securedata.com/shop/ goes to “Not Found The requested URL /shop/ was not found on this server.”

    Please help us solve this.

    Thanks!

PLEASE NOTE: Adding an extra reply to your topic, as per our support policy, will take it back in the queue and take us longer to reply to you. Please refrain for doing this. If you need to add extra info, then please edit your last reply.

To resolve your issue, you needed to set your permalinks. Dashboard => Settings => Permalinks => Common Settings => Month and name

They are set up exactly like that. You can check by yourself since I posted the login info in the support form on your site. Also, what about your own message in the documentation and the theme: “PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large amount of content on the main demo, we have provided a reduced version for you to import to ensure that you have no issues with it. If you would like the full demo content XML, then we can provide it on request. Simply log a support topic at http://swiftideas.com/support”

Please tell us what to do and provide the full site contents as you wrote in the theme description itself: “If you would like the full demo content XML, then we can provide it on request.”

If you can set it up for us for a fee please let us know. If not then please send us the solution for the permalinks issue (since your solution suggestion is already set up properly on the site) and the full demo content and instructions on how to properly install it. The documentation is not clear enough. You don’t even mention the child theme anywhere… Please be so kind to help us.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    1) I have reset your permalinks for you, I checked it’s working before posting.

    2) What content are you specifically missing? We can provide you with the shortcode content or XML files, but do be specific.

    3) You mention a child theme, but you have no clear indication of what you need help with for this?

    Thanks.

Hi thank you very much, that helped.
There are just a couple more thing we need help with:
    1. Mobile menu on the right (Home, Features, Pages …) has the different style, shows arrows and yours does not and yours is better aligned
    2. Images in the Selected Projects are of different size – should we user “Regenerate thumbnails plugin” ?
    3. Under upper “Blog” menu on the pull down right side I get “[spb_recent_posts display_type=”standard” carousel=”no” item_columns=”2″ item_count=”2″ category=”All” offset=”0″ posts_order=”DESC” excerpt_length=”0″ fullwidth=”no” gutters=”yes” button_enabled=”no” pagination=”yes” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]” instead of content.
    4. In the right side of the footer, the Social Icons are missing.
    5. How to add the year in the footer left side in “©[the-year] Uplift – by Swift Ideas”

    Thansk in advance!

    1) The arrows indicate the menu item has children items and will expand if clicked. You can set a different reduced mobile menu in Appearance => Themes

    2) Those image dimensions are slightly different then the demo ones. For example, if you download and set this as the featured image for the portfolio item “Underwater” it should amend that: http://uplift.swiftideas.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/goez_underwater_desktop.jpg

    3) You needed to update the Swift Framework plugin. The shortcode is now working.

    4) You need to add the shortcode [social]. I do however see them:

    5) It’s already there:

    Thanks,

One remaining issue is that there is a lot of content like this pointing to your site and also in plain http which makes the browser complain for security reasons (we have https implemented). What should we do?

Example in the code (138 occurences like this just on the home page):
    href=”http://uplift.swiftideas.com/landing-demo/#features3″

    Thanks in advance!

You would need to do a search and replace, for those instances unfortunately. This can be done either via an MySQL query or you could look for a plugin to do this for you.

    Thanks.
