Sidebar on product category page

Hi,

I would like to create a similar sidebar on the product category page like in the lab wine demo. I am afraid to install the demo content and doing so overwrite my regular content. I could not figure it out using product categories. Can you help, please?

You can set this from within the Theme Options => WooCommerce => Shop Options => WooCommerce Sidebar Config

Hi,

That is the part I figured out myself. The thing I can’t figure out is what widget was used for that sidebar. I tried the Woocommerce product categories widget but it always shows all categories without grouping.

In the Atelier labs wine demo there are different groups shown in the sidebar. It looks like they are product categories but I don’t know how to have them displayed in two groups like Grape and Style.

Also when I add a product to several product categories at the end all those categories are shown with the product. While in the demo only one product category is shown with the product (Red Wine) but the product seems to belong to other categories as well (like grape and style).

How can I achieve something similar?

Please use the WooCommerce Layered Nav Widget, this will allow you to output the product attributes in the format similar to the category output.

First you need to add product attributes: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/. Then you can setup the widget display type.
