    In order to turn on the sidebar, I went to the Default Meta Options in the theme options and it looks like the on switch has disappeared. Was removing the on/off switch for the sidebar an update I missed, or is there another way to turn on the sidebar for all the pages?

    Hi

    It hasn’t been removed (see screenshot)

    You need to set either right or left sidebar, and then the sidebar you want to use.

    I have it set to Right Sidebar and it seems the sidebar is working for all of the pages except the homepage. So my question is how do I have the sidebar on my homepage?

    I should also mention for the homepage I also have the parent set to Default Page (Sidebar Right).

    Yes, or you can have this instead:

    #main-nav .header-right {
    z-index: 1;
    }
