Side broken after latest update trying to fix missing sidebars

Hi!

My site broke down when I tried to update the latest fix with took my sidebars away.
I restored to the previous version (where the sidebars don´t show). well. I have added new products for about four hours after the update, but I didn´t notice the missing sidebars before that.
I would therefore really prefer to have this latest version functioning well.

Can you please help me with this?

Please update WP and the theme version. This was updated yesterday to fix this specific issue.

Please read what I write.

When I update to the previous version. The sites “crashes”. This is a much worse situation than the current missing sidebar. I will now make the update as you say, and then you will have to take a look at this site now. We cannot have this page down for long.

I am aware of your postings, the reason I asked you to re-run the update is that the updated theme was named wrong and this caused some theme updates to crash. We immediately fixed this issue, which is why I recommended you proceed with the available update.

Could you be more specific when you say crashes? What happens, is there an error produced?

The site this time went in maintenance mode when I update. Earlier attempts have just resulted in a blank screen with the name of the site on the top of the page. The first new update seemed to be working, except that I lost my sidebars.

I have tried my best resolving this issue myself, without success.

Hopefully you can work your way around this problem for me 🙂

This was caused by two issues:

1) The updated theme had a spelling issue in the name, now resolved.
2) Your child theme contained page.php this needed to be updated to match the 4.4 changes for the sidebars to work. I have done this for you.
