side bar issues

Hello, sorry me again but I read your support and I couldn’t find the answers.

I am building the shop page and for each category a page per collection (using the page builder) which is great – only one thing I set up the side bar for the shop page (like your demo) and the side bar doesn’t show about it show for each category pages which I don’t want side bars 🙁

Hi

The woocommerce widgets only work on woocommerce pages.

If you want to have category pages, instead of using the page builder, copy the link for the category for e.g. http://neighborhood.swiftideas.net/product-category/accessories/sunglasses/ and add it to your menu

Is the shop page a woocommerce page? if not what are the woocommerce pages?

On your demo – how did you installed the side bar on the shop page? http://themeforest.net/item/neighborhood-responsive-multipurpose-shop-theme/full_screen_preview/5086341

I would like a similar one but showing the different categories like the brands on your demo. On my shop page either way i set up with page builder or classic editor i selected the side bar option and it doesn’t show it – none of them work i tried with a normal side bar (widget) or the woocommerce side bar – what do i do wrong?

also one more question: How can i change everywhere in teh site the name ‘products’ to collections?

Whatever page you set as the shop page in WooCommerce Settings under the products tab, is the main shop page (woocommerce sidebars will work).

To set the sidebar for that page you need to go the Theme Options > WooCommerce options
