Shrink Sidebar in Products Page

Hello, my page has a lot of categories for the products, and I’ll like them to be in the sidebar for an easy navigation but, it’s just to big!, is there a way that the side bar shows only the subcategories that display from the category they are visiting? Like in the footer, there’s a setting in there to show only the subcategory of the category. And is there a way to make it a little bit more small on the width? so I have more space for the products to show.

Also two more questions:

1. in the footer I haven’t been available to configurate the social icons, I’ve tried and search how to do so. But I can’t fin the way, I searched in the knowledgebase and I can’t find anything, probably I’m missing something very obvious that everyone can see. But I haven’t how do I add the social icons in the footer?

2. The instagram grid seems to have some problems displaying the latest posts, it shows only one every time, I don’t know why is this for?

Go to Theme Options > General to set the sidebar width to 1/4 reduced

Thank you Kyle, that arrange the first issue, but the main question was, is it possible to make the side bar less large? “shrink it”, because is to large with all the categories that my page has, but i can’t take out the categories, what can I do to solve that? would it be possible for it tho only show the categories, and show only the subcategories of the category that the user “is”.
