Hi there!
I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was hoping you could help me out. If not, please just let me know so I can find answers elsewhere ๐
Anyway, my question is a bit hard to explain so I tried to come up with a simpler example. Let’s say my website sells food and produce. I could add categories to them based on their type (ex. fruits, vegetables, poultry, etc.) And a tag to be more specific. (ex. spinach, broccoli, egg, milk, etc.)
I could have “Food” as my main menu item, and under it, “Shop by Type” and “Shop by Benefit”
So me menu would look like:
FOOD
– Shop by Type
— Fruits
— Vegetables
— Poultry
— Dairy
– Shop by Benefit
— Blood Circulation
— Digestion
— High Blood Pressure
— Healthy Skin
Of course, shopping by benefit could include multiple products of different types.
I understand that to create the menu for “Shop By Type” I could just simple create a custom link pointing to the category of “poultry.” My question is, how would I set up a page for the Shop By Benefit?
My client doesn’t want to manually tag each product with the benefits, so is it feasible to set up a benefit page (for example, the page for high blood pressure) to show all items tagged with “spinach”, “broccoli” and “cucumber”? Or for the page for “healthy skin”, to show all products tagged with “egg”, “sugar”, and “coffee”
(All my examples aren’t factual, I just wanted to make a simpler example!)
Thank you so much in advance. ๐
