No it didn’t. I stayed for a while seeing the slider images before scrolling and everything was fine.

You can also use WP-Supercache or W3Total Cache to speed a litle bit.

It was the slider that take the time and the full width slide ron the projects pages.

I am already using w3 Total cache. Thanks, good to know its not annoyingly slow.
