    Hi,

I would like to show flags and language names both together. I selected this option in WPML and it works fine. But not in the first row (so the current language people are seeing on the website). I attached an image, see red arrow. The English text name is not showing a flag on the left in the first row. The dropdown underneath is working fine. I am using Flexform, which is great by the way!

Hi, could you ask the plugin developers about that please?
Let us know what they say so we can check if we can do anything.

    Cheers

I don’t think this has to do something with WPML support team. See the link and view the section ‘Language switcher in closed state’. Normally this has to be exact like this, but in Flexform it is not.

Back again. I asked it to WPML support theme and they refer to you, the theme builders. See below what they say:

    Hi,

this demo site is also ok. But code which you privded is only to display menu under current language and dont include this current language.

But this is a part of theme (you can switch to standard wordpress theme nd you will see that it works as expected) so I am affraid that I have to refer you again to theme authors 🙂 But I will give you some code which you can show for them, and then they will be able to fix this.

To display flag of current language, here is a snippet:

They should put this code in their theme in place where flag should be displayed

Please let me know if you are satisfied with my answer and if I can help you with any other questions you might have

    Hi InnoE,

Just edited the build for you. Their method didn’t work so I altered the jQuery that sets the current language. You can grab the new build here – http://d.pr/f/lW5d

    Hope that helps.
