    My shortcode generator in the WP editor pops up and gives me all the choices, then when I click “insert shortcode” it seems to respond, but the popup doesn’t disappear and there is no shortcode inserted.

    It’s almost like the shortcode folder is missing, but if I add the code manually, it works just fine.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi

    That’s odd, are you using the latest version of the theme? If so, please try deactivated all of your plugins to see if that fixes the issue

    Thanks for responding Kyle and Mohammad.

    I found the problem. I recently enabled the “Minify” feature in the “W3 Total Cache” plugin for wordpress. Once I disabled this feature the shortcode generator worked just fine.

    I hope this helps others who might be having the same problem.
