Hi i’m having problems with my shop sidebar, it only displays blog relevant headings i.e. last post, post categories etc but I want product categories instead. How do I do this? Is there a plugin/short script to make a custom sidebar?

Hi,

Did you try adding Woocommerce product category in the sidebar in Appearance -> Widgets, in the appropriate sidebar?

Yea this is exactly what I mean thanks! Was also wondering on my frontpage i’d like to have the sidebar start under the revolution slider. Is this possible using short code or something?

Hi Joris,

Try Create a page, and choose the left sidebar and choose a sidebar, then give the revolution slider its alias. and fill the content in the post editor. it will do the trick. or use this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-shortcode/ to turn a widget in to a shortcode, and use that in a text block of swift builder

Okay great, I will give it a shot, I’d like to use the WooCommerce sidebar, the alias for this is just the title of the sidebar?

Another issue I’ve been having is that I keep getting logged out of the dashboard every few minutes. Do you know why this is?

I’ve also been having issues with the swiftbuilder, It wont display my page’s build. Added a screenshot, the page is just the homepage.

We’ve got the the side bar but it needs to be bellow the revolution slider and the green bar. Can you explain to me how to get it in shortcode?
