Hi Guys,
I have a site I am working on and have struck a few problems.
I have searched the forums high and low and cant seem to figure out whats going on.Here is the site I am working on: http://gioconda.ringthewebguys.com/
1. The gap between the header and the first anything, be it an image, parralax or what ever.
I have read on the forums here bits of code and added all of them and tried but to no avail. Yes I have ticked the boxes to remove top and bottom bits.2. Shop problem.
On a single product things do not show correctly http://gioconda.ringthewebguys.com/product/specialty-blend-200g/This doesnt change much at all regardless whether or not in setting whether i tell Dante to use Swift page builder in products or not.
Ideally I would like to get all products looking nice and neat like http://dante.swiftideas.net/product/aspesi-jacket-shirt/ as is similar to someone else site http://scottfrasercollection.com/shop/hand-knitted-navy-blue-scarf-with-grey-detailing/
Would love to get this sorted so I stop pulling my hair out…lol
Thanks in advance
DarrenFebruary 1, 2014 at 3:25 pm #46153Hi there
1) Try adding pt0 to your extra class field.
2) – Have you edited any of the theme files?
– Are you using the latest version of Dante?
– Try deactivating all of your plugins, apart from WooCommerce, and see if this changes anything. It may be due to a plugin.– Kyle

February 3, 2014 at 7:06 am #46313Hi Kyle,
I added pt0 and there was no change. ( I tried pt0 and .pt0 no difference )
I just updated the Dante theme to 2.01 ( I am using the child theme ). Still no change.
I do have custom css entered ( i removed it, and tried again but no change ).
Here is the custom css I have in there as I have seen other posts with similar problems and thought it may fix.
###
#main-navigation {
border-top: 1px solid;
border-bottom: 1px solid;
}.spb_parallax_asset.sf-parallax.parallax-content-height.spb_content_element.bg-type-cover.col-sm-12.alt-bg.alt-four {
margin-top: 0px;
}
###I have ticked remove top and bottom spacing. But I am wondering if it is a parrallax issue as you can see here on this page http://gioconda.ringthewebguys.com/contact-us/ my first itek in page builder is Google Maps and this reaches right to the top of the page.
2/ I deactivated all plugins but Woocommerce and all was the same. Bu then I checked the settings of Woocommerce itself and i had a box unchecked ” Use Woocommerce CSS “, as I thought it would need to use Dante configuration.
I then checked and it appears much nicer now. Mind you the one problem I have before discovering this was my actual shop page http://gioconda.ringthewebguys.com/shop/ is spreading the total width of the page and it is the same when you choose the product on there. Please what to do to fix this?
Regards
DarrenFebruary 3, 2014 at 6:30 pm #46489Hi
1) Add mt0 to the parallax element, this will remove the top spacing.
2) Not sure about this, it’s not pulling in the css for containers. Have you removed any files from the theme?

February 3, 2014 at 9:47 pm #46514Hi Kyle,
mt0 worked a treat. I have seen this mt0 and pt0 etc listed around in the forums is there any reference to what all these classes do?
I have not removed any files at all. As mentioned I installed Dante 1.51 then the child theme. I have only been using that. The shop area was fine the other day when i posted my original questions.
Now I didnt check the shop page but in reference to above when you said am i using the latest theme I went and checked and upgraded it to 2.0 before my previous reply.
I havent changed things at all as i have been purely working on layouts and colors etc.
Would love to get this sorted, if you need anything let me know.

I deleted both child and parent theme.
Got rid of all plugins, well deactivated them.
I then installed the theme you last asked me too.
I simply added woo commerce plugin, changed no settings at all and then checked the shop page.
Unfortunately the problem is still there.
What can we do next. I am not sure what even started the problem, little own what is causing it.

February 13, 2014 at 9:36 pm #48840Hi Darren,
Apologies – this was a bug in the theme. I’ve fixed it on your site for you and it’s in the next update. The shop page now displays correctly.
Hope that helps, any other issues let me know!
