    Problem: Our shop page is showing our products in two columns- one in the left column, and one all the way to the right. There’s a large void in the middle. Our archive-product.php file still reads: “$columns = 4;” . Also, if sidebars are added, the page behaves properly as the columns are able to move closer together.

    It was your WP total cache plugin that was causing the issue

    I have the same problem. I understand it was the Total Cache plugin, but what was the fix?
