Sharing button issues

Hi there,

I’m having some difficulties with sharing buttons. They are showing up and working great on all posts. I enabled them on pages as well (via Jetpack) and something unusual is happening. The sharing buttons are appearing on some pages and not on others.

I know that Jetpack sometimes doesn’t play well with Flexform, but there has to be a reason it’s working on some pages and not others. Can you help me figure it out so I can get it working everywhere? I’ve done all kinds of testing to see if there is an element on the pages that aren’t working vs. the ones that are, but have come up empty.

For example, the sharing buttons appear at the bottom of these pages:
Who We Are

Education

But not on these:

Gorilla Orphans

Elephant Crisis

Fallen Rangers Fund

Can you offer any insight? The pages that the sharing doesn’t work on are the ones that are the most likely to want to be shared by people. This is for a super good cause and it’s really important that people can share this information across social platforms.

Hi,

Sorry for the trouble you are facing.

You mean the Sharing in those projects types not showing?

Trythis.

Go to JetPack settings pages, and click configure in Sharing box, then you are taking to another page. in that you have Show buttons on: Click the projects check box.

Let me know, if fixes the issue or not..

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I don’t see any Projects check box in Jetpack Sharing settings. I’ve attached a screenshot showing what I see.

I have Pages checked though, which is where I want them to appear. It’s just that they only show up on some pages and not others.

Okay, I checked all of the options so they should show up on every page but nothing. 🙁

I think I’ve noticed something though – it seems they aren’t showing up on any pages that have blog posts listed. The sharing buttons aren’t appearing on the blog page either.

Can you detail the final solution to this, as I’d like to share on pages as well as posts. I’ve got the latest version of flexform, but can’t find the way to add the social sharing to all pages.
