    Hi,

Sorry in advance if this comes across a silly question, but I’m struggling a little!

Basically, I’ve put a fresh install of Neighborhood onto an otherwise blank website, starting from scratch. When I navigate to my domain name, I see the ‘My Blog | Just another wordpress site’ page, with the ‘hello world’ blog page etc. displayed.

How can I edit this page to make it my homepage, complete with slider, featured products etc.? The only solution I have is to create a new page called ‘Home’, setup a homepage there and try to point my domain name there instead of the default page…?!

Any guidance for a WP newcomer much appreciated, it’s driving me mad!

Hi – I’ve been struggling with this as well and JUST figured it out!

    1. setup a Page using the Swift Slider to exactly like you want your homepage laid out. You can even choose a pre-built page just like in the demo! Save that page.

    2. Go to Appearance -> Themes -> Customize (under Neighborhood). From there select Static Front Page and choose A Static Page, and select in the dropdown the Page you just created in step 1.

    Good luck!
