Setting the height of the header when resized

Using Dante 2.01, running the latest version of wordpress (3.8.1) we have a problem with the height of the header when scrolling down. As can be seen on http://test.halte2.nl/ our header-logo resizes as it should. However, the header doesnt resize with it. It should be less height when resized. At this moment, it’s only getting just a bit smaller when scrolling down the page.

I cannot find the option of the header high when resized, is there any code I can modify? If yes, where can i find the code?

Please see in Theme Options -> Header Options ‘logo resized height’ fields.

Thanks for your reply. Even when I adjust the logo resized height field the header bar wont resize when scrolling down. There is a lot of white space underneath the header-logo.

I want to make that white space smaller.
