set right sidebar for ANY post from ANY date

Hi i’ve tried to find a way to insert the right sidebar in ANY post i’ve created on the blog, but the only thing that it’s changing is the right sidebar just on new posts.

There’s any way to put the right sidebar also on older posts? some php command, or some tweak, some code to edit?

If I an installing the theme on an old site, how do I globally set the side bar to ‘on’ for all blog posts? (I’m looking for this answer for the Neighborhood theme, but hopefully its the same for Dante too)

bellaq you can try going to single.php and changing

$page_wrap_class = '';

to

$page_wrap_class = 'right-sidebar';

and see if that works.

stefanwilliams I’m afraid you would need to edit the posts, unless you hack into the database and find the table cells for that custom field, but that would most likely be a job for a dedicated db specialist.
