I’ve got a lot of blog entries that are using the “featured image” option. However, Dante doesn’t seem to grab that information and insert it as the “Detail media” on the blog post itself. Is there a way to set it up that way for all posts?

It should set the featured image as the media display by default.

If it doesn’t, then you will have to check that you have ‘image’ set as the Media Display Type.
