First of all I just want to say thank you for such a great put together theme. The problem I’m running into is the SEO within the website I’m using YOAST’S SEO plugin to handle it just as I do in every site. It handles writing all the meta information fine but when I do key phrase and word analysis’s on pages and especially product pages I’m running into a major problem. It does not seem to be pulling body copy so the meta information does not end up corresponding with what is written in the body. So key words/phrases that we are focusing on which we include in the body copy, title, url and meta information are not matching up as I said before. During the analysis of a page or product the only copy it is pulling from the page is actually the menu links. Do you have any suggestions as we are getting really poor search results right now and have spent a lot of time trying to write unique descriptions for all our pages and products.

    Hi @camaross2005

Are you using the page builder on these pages that you are getting bad results? Or is your content just the standard WordPress editor with text?

    Let us know.

It’s just the standard wordpress editor with text. No Page builder on the product pages.

    Hi there,

Apologies for the delay, not sure how I didn’t get an email notification for this – will investigate that!

I can’t really understand the issue, only that it may be down to a plugin conflict of some sort. We use the correct WordPress tags to display the content, and have a lot of people that use Yoast SEO with no issues at all.

Can you test with other plugins disabled? If you reply with a link/login, I’ll try and take some time to look into it for you – however as far as I’m aware this isn’t an issue with the theme.

    Thanks,

    – Ed
