    Hi.

At the moment there are only search results showing at the search results page (whatever.com/?s=foo)

Is it possible to show also the search input field at this page again? Like right before the first found (or not found) entry?

Sometimes user search for something and realize they want to add some more search terms or keywords.

    Thanks

    Elias

Upload and activate the child theme we supply. From the parent theme, copy the file search.php into the child theme folder.

Replace the contents of search.php with this: https://gist.github.com/webadelic/efdbb3aa25aa9a9ba7b6f074e7549c52.

    Hello David,

I have done as you suggested but unfortunately the result page looks still the same without the search form. Does it have anything to do with the super search option or where should I look for to make it work?

    Thanks.

    Elias

Elias you did not mention Super Search initially. Please add a URL and WP login for me.

I don’t have Super Search enabled. I tried with and without Super Search but still the same. Unfortunately the website is still on a localhost server and (right now) not accessible from the internet.

Is the child theme active? Will need a staging link ideally, else it’s guess work.

The child-theme is super active. Ok. When the sites goes online I’ll send the link.

Somehow after the last theme update it works now with the search.php in the child theme.
