    Hi team

The search result page layout is weird, and i tried different option in the Archive/Category Options but it did not turn the layout into the original one. I don’t think i have installed any plugin or customize anything other than the Neighbourhood theme option.

    Hi

It views like this for me (see screenshot)

Looks like you’ve just selected the mini layout. You also need to add a sidebar

Sorry I forgot to attach screenshot. Please change to masonry layout if you want it the same as our demo. You change this in Theme Options > Archive/Category options.

    Hi Kyle

Thank you for your help. I changed to Masonry layout, but the products are randonly sized and not display in the same format. And is it possible for displaying the name only and not showing the content of the product page?

    Cheers

    Hi

Unfortunately it’s not possible to have the shop layout on the search result page.

How come? It seems to make more since from a UI perspective that the user is searching products since the website is an online store.

I think it’s weird that the products show up like blog posts. There’s really no fix for this?

Because the search result page is an archive page for all types of post, including products, jobs, posts etc so it wouldn’t make sense for other post types to show up as products. Instead you can use the woocommerce product search widget, which will return a shop layout for your products.

I think perhaps having an option to search products or the entire website may be a good solution then.
