Ok, thanks for the feedback David. I figured out what happened … I migrated from one hosting package to another recently at BlueHost and they decided to turn all auto-update options for themes and plugins to ON when doing that. It doesn’t always work when someone else start to think for you 😉
I will focus on getting up and running again now first and come back to this thread later.
