    Hey guys.
    I tagged my products with a bunch of tags related to the product. But when i search for one of the tags, it does not appear in the search results.

    E.g. I gave a product the tag ‘Sport’ – Then i try to search for it, and it does not appear in the results. Only the ones with Sport in the product title?

    Hi,

    If you want to improve your search for categories and tags for a custom post type, I recomend you install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/.

    Once setup and configured, this will build a new search index for WP to use.

    I have configured https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/ and it showing the results correctly on the search result page but not in the live search preview.

    I tagged the products with the word “Hortensie” how can I show products with matching tags in live search preview?

    Hi,

    Yes, the Ajax search works differently than the normal search.

    Currently there is not an integration for Relevanssi + normal search, for this level of integration you would need to hire a developer:
