    Hello, I purchased the Flexform theme yesterday. The search box that shows on the menu bar is not working. When you click on it, nothing happens (it does not open to allow some to search).

    This is happening with both browsers I am have tried, Safari and Firefox.

    I’m experiencing the same issue. The search bar was working fine a few days ago and suddenly it stopped expanding to enable search when you click the magnifying glass. How do we fix this?

    WP update does not fix the issue. I sent my login info to support to see if they can figure out how to resolve this. If I receive any answers, I will post here.

    I think the problem was precisely with the WP update, that somehow originated a conflict with the search widget and is now pointing to “www.your-domain.com/#“…

    Either way, please keep us posted on this issue!

    Many thanks in advance.

    For now, if you want to hide the search, add the following to the custom css box within theme options:

    #nav-search {
    display: none;
    }

    I think this may have to do with the new WP update, and a change in jQuery version.

    There’s an easy way to do that: Theme Options > Header Options > Enable Nav Search

    Switch it off and it will disable the search box next to the navigation.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem. Otherwise, everything else is perfect. Is a fix coming for this?

    FYI, I tested this on mobile and search for is fine. Look like the issue is with the reveal of the form in the desktop width.

    Thanks,
    Sal

    Hiya folks.

    I have the same problem and have tracked it down to the recent update of NextGen gallery.

    That seems to have affected quite a few things and having deactivated just the NextGen plugin the search slider sprung back to life.

    I hope this helps people although I’m not quite sure what I’m going to use instead of NextGen 🙂

    I do not have the NexGen plugin either.

    I was told by support that they would have a fix in the next theme update, which should be available soon.
