Search engine issues

Hi,

I have some problems with the search engine. When I use the search button (right upper corner in header), it often says: ‘ … no results … ‘ (see screenshot, it’s in dutch). But it does give proper results if you press enter, see example page here if you search for ‘dave’: http://monkshop.eu/?post_type=product&s=dave. Of course I would like to have this message removed. Is this possible?

Another issue is it doesn’t search categories, category names and/or tags. How can this be fixed, as it is very important for our webshop search engine to have a product find asap and through all possible ways.

Hi,
1- Please use this custom css code:-

.ajax-search-results,.ajax-loading{
display:none !important;
}

2- WordPress does not support default category and tag search. You can try this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-everything/.

Thank you, but now the products with thumbnails aren’t shown anymore too, when it does match the search word … Is this the only option I have?

How was search working? Was search giving the results with thumbnail?

Yes, before it was resultlist with thumbnail, but only when he found matching products. See screenshots how it was before. The second search word was ‘bouldermat’. There it said ‘no results’, but when you press enter it does get a result, this page: http://monkshop.eu/shop/crashpads/moon-pluto-crash-pad-2014/, because it says ‘bouldermat’ in product short description.
