Hey!

#1 Why Seach box isn’t inline and a drop down comes prompting user to enter?
#2 I want the search box to hide if no longer my mouse is on same region or say focus is outside the search box.
Let me know if this looks aestheically good rather than asking user to click outside to hide the box.
Issue: That search reults box doesnt close only!!!
Let me know how to proceed.

1) Your search looks inline perfectly to me, please add a screenshot to help illustrate your issue.

2) Unfortunately that is not possible, you would need a developer to make this customisation.
