I created a template from the swift page builder. I would like the template to store all of the Meta Options I customized at the bottom of the post, but saving the current page as template didn’t save any of the Meta Options, only the items within the content area.

    Hi,

That option just saves the content of the page builder. To copy everything clone that page/post using the following plugin.

    Yoast Duplicate Post

    Hope it helps.

Something strange is happening with my saved templates. I’ve saved a page, so that I could work on it and redesign the layout on a test page.

I’ve made a new test page, opened the saved template, after which I can see it in the Swift Page Builder, then I updated the page, viewed the page – and it’s a completely different template!

    Hi @mikefrisbee,

Does the saved template look the same in the page builder once you select it, or not? Tested here and can’t replicate an issue. Try saving the page template again?

    Ed,

When I load the saved template, you can see it in the backend, but it was a different template when I viewed the page.

In the end I worked around it by using the duplicate-post plugin that Rui recommended.
