Save doesn't work

Hello,

I have a problem with saving general settings.

(DEV) I developed the website on my own webspace:
http://ghostarmy.de/_LARS/saturnea/

(FINAL) Than changed it to:
http://www.saturnea.com/

Database is working. Also the wp-config.php is ok.

When I change Texts on pages there is no problem. Only when I want, for example, to change the design of the header (theme options > header options) or I want to paste in the google analytics code (theme options > general options) after pressing the save button the system says that the change has been saved. But this is not correct. It changed nothing.

The Permissions on the FTP are:

Folder = 755
Files = 644

Do you have any ideas?

Did you run a search and replace on your database to change the old links to the new one?

Hi,

That seems a plugin conflict.
Can you disable all the plugins and check if it work.

Than you have to activate the plugins until finding the problematic one.

Hello again,

we went through all plugins and found WPML String Translation to be the culprit.

Currently it is deactivated, and things seem to run fine, but we wonder if you have any knowledge of WPML and if this particular plugin would cause any problems in future if it stays deactivated?

The other question is if the 2 remaining database instances mentioning the old domain we asked about before will cause any issues in future?

Hi,

If it stays deactivate there is no problem. I have already see some conflict problems with that plugin, sometimes it can be the combination of several plugins.

Those 2 db entries are not problematic.
