April 10, 2014 at 8:44 am #65884Hi guys, I experience one small inconvenience with row element. When I want to change a background color, I can’t enter the numbers, the swatch panel jumps above that field and can only pick a color. I tried to enter #fff it worked, but with other colors like #6bbbd6…no ๐ Any idea how to do that? Thanks
April 10, 2014 at 10:13 am #65922You need to enter only the numbers ๐ So:
6BBBD6

April 10, 2014 at 10:19 pm #66160Sorry Ed, I can see you’ve changed the CSS but it doesn’t seem to have had any effect on the problem on the home page?
April 11, 2014 at 8:59 am #66241I see what you were referring to on the homepage now, just sorted that!

April 13, 2014 at 11:42 am #66573This fix was unfortunately not lucky, when adding new elements to the page the white gap (empty <p> tags) still occur.
I found some other postings with exactly that same problem:

http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/empty-p-tag/Can you please provide a solution for this? Thanks

April 15, 2014 at 5:44 pm #67424Hey guys,
The empty p tag is likely due to space in your page content. If you disable the page builder, switch to text view, make sure there is no space/anything before the first shortcode “[” at the top, then switch back to page builder and save, it should all be good. We’re not experiencing any empty p tags here, and we move across multiple page builder sites a day.
@paulrigby – checking now.– Ed
April 15, 2014 at 5:52 pm #67426@paulrigby – hopefully that should be it! can you check / let me know?
Guys, regarding the empty p tag, apologies – should have provided some css to remove if it does happen. This is the custom css you can add:
.page-content > p:empty { display: none; }

October 27, 2014 at 4:45 pm #123470Hi Guys,
I seem to be having a similar problem as what is mentioned in this thread. I have a white margin above a text block that is located inside a row. Originally, I just had a text block but wanted a different background color, so I added the row and then the space showed up. None of the fixes mentioned above seem to work though. I’ve tried the CSS code, all my margins are set to zero, I’ve turned off the page builder to check for empty <p> tags (which there are none). What else can I do, or am I missing something?
Here’s the page I’m working on for your reference: http://www.chasingadventure.ca/home
Thanks,
jillOctober 27, 2014 at 5:07 pm #123481Hi,
Can you provide us an image of the white gap? Not sure if it’s the above the text “We Are Chasing Adventure!”
