Right sidebar, I don't get to make it visible

I’m trying to make a simple Blog, where the sidebar is visible, to put banners, search by categories, etc … But I can not make it visible.
I want the blog to be the Home, but I’ve also tried to create a page to see if I could see the sidebar, and it was impossible.
I do not know what happens. on another website with the same theme Cardinal, this problem does not occur to me. I’ve been comparing them and can not find the solution.
Sure it’s easy, but I’m crazy looking for a solution …
