    Hi there,

I’ve been digging in the forum, but can’t find the issue I am having.

I recently updated the Revolution Slider (4.6.5) to the latest version (WP 4.1 and Neighborhood theme 2.05) and I cannot use the submenus when trying to edit a slide.

I only can create a slide from the gallery and no option to change it.

In the Global Settings I have put the selction for ‘Insert JavaSscript Into Footer’ to on.
In the trouble shooting section of the slider settings ‘Put JS Includes To Body’ is set to on.

    I have tried multiple combinations.

Any ideas how I can get this resolved?

    Thanks in advance!

    Jarl

    Hi,

Probably something went wrong in the update.
Try to delete all revolutions slider files and upload the files from the latest version.

    Hi Rui,

I did what you asked and removed the plugin and all remaining files via FTP.

I also whitelisted the URL wp-admin/admin-ajax.php on my Sucuri firewall
(note that wp-content/plugins/revslider was already whitelisted).
Any other i need to whitelist?

Unfortunately the submenus’s are still not functioning, with or without troubleshooting settings in the slider settings.

Do you see any other options?

    Thanks again!

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

It can be also a plugin conflict. Try to disable all plugins except Revolution slider just to discard a plugin conflict.

Not sure if you know how to inspect the code to see if are any errors in your javascript console.

    Hi,

If you provide admin access, I can check if exist any errors in the javascript console.

Disabling the plugins is also important to discard any plugin conflict but that only with your permission. You don’t lose anything by deactivating and activating again the plugins.

    Let me know.

Lot’s of files that couldn’t be loaded. Aparently they don’t exist or can be blocked by the firewall.

Can you check in your server if this file exist inside the plugins directory.
    revslider/images/loader.gif

A couple days we had a similar situation and the customer after deleting all files and upload the Revolution Slider by Ftp it worked fine.

    Hi again Rui,

I actually installed the whole set via FTP and in includes the file you mention.

I will check if I need to whitelist this file and maybe more on the FW and if that makes a difference.

    Thanks again!

    Kind regards.
