    Something happened and I’m no longer able to create a new slider because the option disappeared from the menu. Please help.

    That is a conflict caused by Events Manager plugin.
    You should contact the author of that plugin to see what it can be done.

    Deactivate it and see that you will be able to add new slider’s without any problem. You can always deactivate it temporarily just to manage your sliders.

    Is it possible to use the showcase slide without revolution slider? If I just want an image with a clickable link and it doesn’t have to be fancy, can I just use a featured image in the showcase slide instead?

    That will work, but the entire image will be clickable.

    that’s all right. how does the showcase slider work? I tried to make one and then have it appear on the home page but I can’t seem to get it to work.

    Thank you, I read the doc already. I made a showcase item with a link and featured image. I configured the homepage to include a showcase item up top using SwiftBuilder, but nothing is showing up on the home page:

    Events manager plug-in is currently inactive.

    Can you investigate?
