Hi there,
I recently redirected my domain to set my site ‘live’ but since the change over, the Rev slider is doing funny things.
It gets stuck on the spinner after the first or second slide – what settings should I be looking at to correct this? (I have the ‘Stop Slider’ toggled to Off under General Settings.
Or sometimes it doesn’t load at all? (It works when you manually click through the slides however?)Website is: http://www.infrontsports.com.au
Also, I haven’t really optimised the images – so perhaps this is also contributing to the slider slowing down? Do you have a link to a tutorial that could explain how to best resize images (and change file sizes) for the Rev slider? I have checked through the included Rev slider documentation but I cannot find anything about this.
Apologies, I realise these are probably basic problems!
June 6, 2014 at 6:30 am #80564I have also noticed that in both Chrome and Internet Explorer the first two slides will load, but in Firefox, nothing loads at all. (Just the grey background with the spinner, indefinitely.)
June 8, 2014 at 2:58 pm #80921Hi there,
Have you tried updating to the latest version of the plugin? You can find it here – http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/revolution-slider-latest-version-2/page/2/
Hopefully if this is a plugin issue, it has been resolved with an update.
Thanks,
– Ed

Swift IdeasJune 19, 2014 at 4:58 am #83632Thank you Mohammad – although now every slide was up for less than a second, and didn’t actually finish playing out! I just changed the slide delay and that seemed to sort the strobe effect. ๐
Could you explain what the problem was, and how you fixed it, so I might learn for future reference?
(I can see you switched off the lazy load function, but as I already tried that, I’m trying to work out what else you changed.)
Many thanks.June 19, 2014 at 5:00 am #83633Hi,
You most welcome. I’m glad that issue resolved. I did some settings tweaks for the slider so you can see current settings.
Thanks ๐
With Best Regards
