Revolution Slider Issues

Hi Support,

Revolution slider giving issues, revolution slider used to work, suddenly everything is broken, it is not uploading the slides, giving Internal server error 500, now when I try to deactivate the plugin, it is not letting me to do it. I am in a fix.

even after I click deactivate , rev slider still there on the dashboard

when I tried to update the rev slider plugin from 4.0.5 to .06 and .1, it says update successful, redirecting then it comes back and the version number is still 4.05, I am using the update zip provided by you guys.

Hi Celeste,

Sounds like they may have forgotten to update the version number.

In terms of the other issues, they sound like they might be php memory related. Can you try increasing your server php memory, or asking your host to do so?

I’m having a similar issue. I tried deactivating it because I’m not using it. It says it deactivated but it doesn’t. I manually deleted it via FTP and then reinstalled it to see if the issue was still there. After installing it and NOT activating it it automatically activated itself.

Is this a slider issue or a theme issue?

@dschertz, Hi, what I did, was to deactivate dante, activate any other theme preferrably 2013 or 2014, get to plugins and delete/deactivate the rev slider. I don’t know whether this is a bug or not. But it won’t get deleted from dante, however many times I tried.

Thanks @celeteweitz. The problem is somehow linked to Dante. In Theme 2014 the Revolution Slider shows it’s deactivated, but when I switch back the Dante Child it says it’s activated.

Not sure if that info helps @Ed but I thought I’d add my findings to the list.

I think this is related to the Envato Toolkit plugin. We’re looking into this for v1.3.
