Revolution Slider excerpt

Hi,

I’m setting up a Revolution Slider with posts. I’ve set the custom excerpt in the relevant posts (the post overview pages show these custom excerpts fine). But when I’m setting the %excerpt% in the template slider it shows the default excerpt/content from the pagebuilder.

So somehow the Slider is not pulling in the custom excerpt set in the post. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

I’m afraid the custom excerpt can not be used in the revolution slider, the custom excerpt is part of the theme functionality, and we are able to call the custom excerpt in our theme code, for e.g. the blog page

However we can’t include our custom excerpt in the revolution slider as it’s not our code.

Thanks. Any workarounds you can think of? Because this means it’s not 100% compatible with revolution slider?

There is nothing at all that we can do because the revolution slider does not belong to us

Not a problem! Got it sorted through custom meta-data. Works very well.
