    Hi

After updating the Revolution Slider to version 5.1.6., an error message now appears on all sliders on our site:

Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include.
This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.

    To fix it you can:
    1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true.
    2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.

From the Admin side, the editing options are limited. We cannot open the General Settings, Layout & Visual, Navigation etc.and cannot edit any of the slides either.

Because we can’t edit any of the Slider Settings, we are unable to set the “Put JS Includes To Body option to true” as outlined in the first suggestion for a fix.

    We would appreciate any suggestions.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

I see your site is returning a 500 error whilst loading the slider JS files.

Can you add your FTP details?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I’m having difficulty using those credentials, I cannot connect to the server in endlessly loads for me.

I see there is actually a 500 internal server whilst trying to load the Rev Slider assets. See screenshot.

Can you log a support ticket with your hosting provider and report that to them?

    Thanks.
