    Hi!

I’ve been struggling with restricting certain content for certain user roles on our website and I hope that you can help me with figuring this out.

As you can see via this link, we want to show the content under ‘Documentation for Partners’ (all the way at the bottom of the page; one of the tabs) only to a certain user role group. In this case, we would like to only show the content to ‘Contributors’ and every other user role with less restrictions.

What I want to do now is add an accordion element under this tab, which can only be viewed by contributors and all user roles with less restrictions. So, it should be INVISIBLE to people that are logged out AND to subscribers (more restricted user role).

I was hoping there is a way to do this via extra classes, so that the solution is applicable to specific sections in the entire website. Screenshot is attached for extra clarity!

    Thanks a lot!!

    Hi,

That’s something that the theme doesn’t do by default.
Those functionality are already covered by several plugins like S2 Member between other membership plugins

    Home

Showing and hiding content inside the same page to different it’s complex and I’m not sure this plugins go to that level. Usually it’s done 1 page for one user role and a different page for another user role.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Rui,

I understand, I’ll look for another solution then. Thanks for your reply nonetheless.
