    Can I use some custom CSS which will make my website responsive on mobile but stay as normal on iPad etc.

    Hi

    That will be quite difficult, you would need to go through the responsive.css file and remove all the css for the iPad breakpoint

    any chance you could list what fields would need to be removed or changed so I could pass on to a developer.

    The list would be very long, You would need to edit a lot of the responsive.css file

    I’m sure your developer will know what the breakpoint is for iPad (768px) anything within that media query will need to be edited/removed

    I see, so I general find and replace (768px) in the responsive.css file should work if I was to change the setting to 850px.

    I should be able to do that myself if that’s the case.

    also can you only edit the files through a cpanel (host) and not through wordpress itself?

    You need to edit it though ftp or cPanel or download to your computer. I would take a backup of your site first.
