Responsive problem with alt. background elements

Hello,

Great theme!

Noticed a problem with the responsive layout recently on our website. Any element that has an alt. background will shift slightly to the right on mobile devices as well as when resizing the browser to a smaller size.

Tried the standard fixes: updating the theme, disabling all plugins, disabling cache, reverting some wordpress hardening settings, as well as changing the alt. background images with no luck.

kindly advice on best move forward.
