Hi,
Check out the top layer revolution slider here: http://thehutong.info/?page_id=518
When I compress the slider i see the bottom line keep moving forward and will eventually overlap with the upper line. See attachment the screenshot.
Any idea on this?
Thanks,
Ivy
November 19, 2013 at 4:34 pm #32098Hi, can you increase the margin bottom of the text further?
November 21, 2013 at 3:25 am #32487Hi Melanie,
Thank you for your reply. I tried but i don’t think that’s what it is. See the Flexform live preview here: http://themeforest.net/item/flexform-retina-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4258755
The revolution slider at the top has very little margin between each line, but it won’t overlap when you try to compress the screen. I think there’s something else that i’m missing. Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

November 24, 2013 at 11:33 am #33062Hi Ivy,
Please update to the latest version of the revolution slider – http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/revolution-slider-latest-version-2/
This will be based on the layer align, see the options here – https://www.dropbox.com/s/8uawlzw8a6bbr4u/Screenshot%202013-11-24%2011.32.58.png

November 26, 2013 at 9:10 am #33461Ed,
Thanks for your reply. Actually it gets all good when it’s in big screen, i use the align thing to adjust the position of my two layers. However when i compress the screen to a phone size:
1. the background image will get really small
2. the two layers will overlap. If it’s fully responsive then i guess layers should stay stable relatively – can’t overlapSo i think it’s not the align thing that is the problem here?
Thanks for your help in advance.

November 28, 2013 at 1:34 pm #34120Have you fixed it? I see the slider on your page perfectly fine on small screens now.
November 29, 2013 at 4:10 am #34354No it still has the problem, i put testimonial slider instead of the revolution slider now so that everything works fine. Would really love to know how to fix the revolution slider though.
Let me know if there’s any news on that.
Thanks!

December 2, 2013 at 3:08 pm #34783I will forward this to the developer, maybe he can let you know how he did it in the demo.
December 3, 2013 at 3:58 am #34944That would be awesome. Thank you so much and look forward to hearing from you!
December 3, 2013 at 3:46 pm #35074Hi The Hutong,

December 10, 2013 at 4:06 am #36168Hi Ed,
Thanks for the screenshot, but it didn’t solve the problem. If you can take a look at this page: http://thehutong.info/revtest/
In full screen, it looks like the “Welcome…”(1st layer) bit is at a little above 1/2 and “Step…” (2nd layer) line is at 2/3.
If you try making the screen smaller, what i observe is that, the “Welcome..” will always stay at the corresponding 1/2 place, while “Step…” keeps going up and eventually overlaps with the “Welcome” bit.
It’s been bugging me for so long and it seems that our previous conversations were not so efficient. Can I get this fixed soon? Thanks so much.

December 15, 2013 at 9:18 am #37157Hi Ivy,
Just checking your issue, and seems it is an issue with the slider positioning (plugin issue, not theme issue). It’s not something that the theme is causing, hence not something we are able to fix as such.
If you add this to the custom css box within theme options, it will allow you to add extra spacing:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .layer-mobile-adjust { margin-top: 20px; } }
Then just add “layer-mobile-adjust” to the class of the layer.
Hope that helps.
