Replicating caption title – font and sizing in parallax section

Hi there – I love the look of the swift slider caption title – currently used as header on home page – however, I’d rather load the video directly rather than through a single slide Swift slider! However, I cannot seem to replicate the exact font – it seems ti have the setting ‘caption-title’ I’ve tried h1 and h2 also but neither seem right.. I assume it is Montserrat?… either way, I’d love some help getting it on the first parallax image at the right size. Thanks so much.

Hi,

Please edit the Parallax asset and add this custom class my-custom-text

Then in your theme options, please add this:

.my-custom-text .impact-text-large, p.impact-text-large {
    font-size: 50px!important;
    line-height: 62px!important;
}

.my-custom-text p.impact-text {
    font-weight: 400;
    font-size: 16px;
}

Please set up a test page for those icons, you should be able to change the color in the page builder.

Ha no problem, re the quote marks, simple edit the second parallax text and replace the quote marks around the text with the ones available on your keyboard, the current entities look corrupted, like they have been copied from Word or along those lines. Simply replace both with " will do it.

Hi Claire,

Unfortunately there is not any CSS I can provide for that.

The quotes entered are being sanitized differently, in the slider the quote marks and passed and sanitised using PHP so the quote is output slightly differently visually, whereas the actual text content is converted into the HTML entity.

The curly quote marks are actually the correct display for that font.
