Removing space below menu and above a section?

I have a page with sections that should not have so much space, but there seems to be a large space there. I have attached the link above and screenshots of the page and editor so you can see what I’m doing.

Even if I use a negative spacer, nothing changes. Thanks!

You can’t use a negative space, it’s invalid

What you will need to do is go to page meta options towards the bottom of the page and check the box to ‘Remove Top Spacing’ and then on your parallax asset add mt0 mb0 to the extra class field

FYI – Other themes allow a negative spacer – it’s a really effective and easy way to customize layouts.

Me thinks having huge spacing on the top of the page that is removed in a hidden option is an odd approach.

Why is it an odd approach? It saves people having to add a manual space on every single of their pages

Yes, I see what you’re saying.

However, the box to add/remove this extra space for each page is somewhat buried. You have to enable your screen options and then locate the page meta and then this box. I had to do this for every page.

Is there a Theme Setting to set this height universally so we don’t have to do this for every page?

Don’t get me wrong, this theme is one of the best – I’m just saying Dante could continue to work on improving. Because it’s a great them, I personally plan on using it again – that’s why I’m sharing this feedback.

You shouldn’t have to enable your screen options every time you edit a page. If you want to change the default then you will need to edit meta-boxes.php
